Progress

Nothing like some visual progress.
The inside is still in its deconstruction phase.

But outside there has been some forward momentum.

Cleaning up the yard.  Those pine needles were EVERYWHERE. Luckily I had helpers.

And yesterday and today we have had a roofer there ripping off the old roofing and replacing it with new 30 year shingles.

Yay for V.P!

Deconstruction and Demolition

first order of business was simply just to get in there and rip everything our.  Which we did.  Required zero skill and was a little cathartic as well. Now we have a clean slate and will start the reconstruction process.

The beginning

In the beginning there was a husband who liked to renovate.  On his bucket list was a desire to buy and renovate a house....one that we don't have to live in...and eventually rent it out.  This is his story and the story of his first foray into renovating.

A modest little 3 bedroom house that was much loved by its owners but forced into short sale.

We took these photos on our first inspection of the property. It does look like a rainbow threw up in here but nothing that a good makeover won't fix.

So follow along on this renovation journey. Stay tuned for the deconstruction phase.
